The scents in there make me physically sick. I'm sure some of them are lovely scents individually, but I can't get near enough to enjoy them.

It's all too much, and the hype is overly magnified.Joanna Schmidthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02815987559964160910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-398253939325161206.post-23883846856487728662011-07-19T18:55:41.793-07:002011-07-19T18:55:41.793-07:00Thank you for the enlightenment. I always read Lush's ingredients, and the way they market their soaps is very misleading-at least to me now that I am a soap maker and know how soap is really made. With all that being said, I agree with Sailor in that their process sounds like re-batching more so than melt and pour. They have such great marketing that it's all about presentation and visual appeal.Patrice-The Soap Seductionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15543054431096531348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-398253939325161206.post-22871242277127511142011-07-17T04:43:53.386-07:002011-07-17T04:43:53.386-07:00It's probably largely a safety issue. I think ...It's probably largely a safety issue. I think on a large global scale it would be the safest bet for them not to have their staff working with lye. I would probably call that rebatch rather than melt and pour as they are able to add way more variety of ingredients to the soaps than I could do with melt and pour.Sailor Mouth Soapshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10374645514597586959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-398253939325161206.post-40560559957915642882011-04-04T15:59:08.754-07:002011-04-04T15:59:08.754-07:00.thanks so much!! i was really shocked that they r....thanks so much!! i was really shocked that they revealed the LUSH-way...for a company that really markets the term "handmade"...they should be more truthful, especially in their magazine..........Curat Handcrafted Soapshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00124186167091256429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-398253939325161206.post-41132607045276327292011-03-30T23:33:00.909-07:002011-03-30T23:33:00.909-07:00I'm not surprised..Lush products are all all a...I'm not surprised..Lush products are all all about eye candy.
